qBittorrent is a multi-platform BitTorrent client developed in C++/Qt4. qBittorrent aims to provide a free software alternative to uTorrent. Additionally, qBittorrent runs and provides the same features on all major platforms. Its main features are integrated search engine, UPnP/NAT-PMP support, protocol encryption, peer exchange, IP filtering, torrent prioritization, remote control through a secure web user interface.
qBittorrent is Free Software (more than just Freeware! Free as in Freedom) released under the GNU GPLv2 license. You don't have to pay for it and this won't change. Its code is open and available to everyone and reusable as long as you keep the license information and mention the original author (see the license text for more information). qBittorrent - of course - does not contain any malware, spyware or undesired third-part programs.
qBittorrent was created in March 2006 by Christophe Dumez, and is still actively maintained/developed by him. Several other people (Arnaud Demaiziere, Ishan Arora, Stephanos Antaris, Mohammad Dib) have contributed or are still contributing to the project. Changes:
• Fixed difficult-to-reproduce crash.
• Fixed Windows' Qt5 build. Download: qBittorrent 3.2.5
