DOTA still stuttering in Fullscreen mode. 14.4 were the last to run it fine. Shouldn't it run better than in Borderless Window mode? CPU usage at about 50% on the C2Quad @ 3.6GHz, and the HD 7850 is more than enough. The Witcher 3(mostly mid 30s) and Dying Light(40+ with good drivers...) run fairly well at 1080p, and should be much more demanding. What could be causing this, if not the drivers?

Cpu not engaging at full performance. Try changing power saving settings to high performance, as with some drivers and game combinations windows runs the cpu in a low power state.

How would 14.4 driver override the power state of the CPU? Is that possible?

How would the GPU drivers affect CPU power state?
