Just received this hilarious spam email from balmer@microsoft.com (spoofed email of course, the original sender is nobody@server.alexwebsites.com). Don't visit the link inside the screenshot.

Got the same one, hilarious. Too bad it's not possible to reply to it.

The irony is that 99% of what is written is true, so its funny but also very true.

That's not spam. It's very informative and educational.

Yeah, not spam at all.
Well, unsolicited email can be considered spam, but this is too correct to be labelled as such.

Hilarious??? It's not remotely funny and looks like it's written by a five year old.

this is the most stupid thing i've read so far today, if you think its true you might also be as stupid as the person who wrote it.

Greetings everybody. I'm a n0ob and this is my very first post here, where it's good to see so many open-minded folk.

Yeah, the email is spam because it was unsolicited. But as almost every comment before mine points out, there IS much truth in it. If you haven't already, take a look at "Zeitgeist - The Movie". You can find and official (legal) torrent at their site.

Any holiday, or anything thing else, that causes people to act a little nicer to each other (even if for only a few weeks) is a good thing. BTW, the "offending" website is safe... a bit nutty but safe.

Merry Christmas and Happy Channukah and belated Happy Ramadan and belated Happy Holi to All.

jmjsquared, sadly the holidays in this day and age are not meant to bring people closer; they are mostly aimed at connecting you internal measure of happiness to the amount of money you have spent to purchase some attention from your loved ones.
Simply put, we're being herded into a shared sense of apathy and depression to maximize profit.
