#1 | | Site Staff | Just a few days ago AMD finally released its Mecha HK-2207 (aka Mecha Rampage) DirectX 11 real-time demo to the wide public. And it seems that our favorite Nvidia PR person already has something to say about it.
Nvidia's Igor Stanek, Senior Product PR Manager of EMEA has posted the following response on his Twitter page: "Just tested Mecha Rampage demo and I'm very disappointed. It should be DX11 tech demo, but it looks like DX8/9 with 10 years old physics. Looks like NVIDIA is last company with real tech demos. Supersonic Sled, Aliens vs Triangles or Endless City are from different galaxy." |

#2 | | Site Staff | Love or hate this guy - but again, he's right. The demo does look poor! Hell, the last ATI demo that actually rocked was Toyshop from the X1800 launch. |

I buy hardware for its bang per buck for the level I need. Not for the demos that come on the CD in the box, as that rarely even gets unpacked. |

#10 | | One issue candidate | Demo is for showing off and if can't be done properly, it's better to be left out of the equation.
