They are adding performance improvements for Crysis and Lost Planet Colonies for several months now. What’s the point? What about other games? Nobody is playing these games anymore… we need improvements for new games.

the new CCC is close to 10x harder to use, a real demonstration in what not to do with an UI. Talking about the advanced mode.

CCC has always been shit to use. so it just got 100x shittier.

and Basty, it works fine on the 3870, you're doing something wrong.

So far, no real problems after installing 'over the top' of 9.6. But, I'm not thrilled at all with the new CCC. Took me about 10 minutes or so to find the HDTV settings for my LCD. [Although, I didn't really need to make any changes there due to installing over the top.]

Catalyst going down the toilet these days. Maybe its time to resurrect NGO ATI drivers and bring it back from the grave to save the poor ATI users.

I tracked the problem to a HD failure. It crashed during install so I figure it was the display driver but after I rebooted it continued to crash while accessing my 2nd HD for Media Center Extender.
