Internet Explorer 8 RC1
Posted by Regeneration on January 27th, 2009, 12:26 AM

Internet Explorer 8 Release Candidate 1 (RC1) indicates the end of the Internet Explorer 8 beta period. The technical community of people and organizations interested in web browsers should recognize this as the signal that Internet Explorer 8 is final-behavior complete. For the people who build the web, this means they can build and test their deployment images, test their line-of-business applications, and test their websites with the confidence those will behave the same way in the final Internet Explorer 8 release. While we’ll continue listening for critical feedback and incorporate any necessary changes, we intend to keep the behavior of the web platform consistent in the final release. This will minimize the retesting anyone will have to do with the final release.
