CoreTemp 0.99.4
Posted by Regeneration on January 23rd, 2009, 09:55 PM

CoreTemp is a compact, no fuss, small footprint program to monitor CPU temperature. The uniqueness of it is that it shows the temperature of each individual core in a each processor in your system! You can see in real time how the CPU temperature varies when you load your CPU. Its also completely motherboard independant. Core Temp also has a logging feature, allowing a user to easily record the temperature of his processor(s) over any period of time, then the data can be easily transfered into an excel datasheet for easy graphing.

• Completely rewritten base code.
• Now available in both 32 and 64 bit versions.
• CPU detection improved, efficiency improved, speed improved, clock speed detection improved.
• Initial support for Core i5.
• Automatically detect Core i7/i5 series TjMax.
• Show real-time TDP of Core i7 processors (still needs work).
• Alternative clock speed detection for Core 2, i7 and i5 series and up.
• Support for all currently available and some future processor families.
• Temperature changes color when temperatures hit high levels to alert the user.
• Show (!) besides the temperature of a core which hit critical temp as a notification of past overheating.
• Invalid temperature values are followed by (?) for both Intel and AMD.
• AMD AM2+ 65nm processors get a 21c offset to fix incorrect temperature reporting.
• AMD Black Edition processors identified by "BE" suffix after PR rating.
• Display time and date on G15 LCD.
• Complete DPI awareness - Core Temp GUI now scales perfectly with any DPI setting.
• Rewritten algorithm for "Register dump" function, works much faster and more accurate.

LOL, they've added a workaround for the brisbane sensor bug... now?!

It works pretty nicely with the G15 keyboard.
