Obama Beats McCain
Posted by Regeneration on November 5th, 2008, 03:25 PM

Barack Obama did more than thump John McCain in the Electoral College tally; he also handily won the popular vote and redrew the great divide between red states and blue states. Riding a Democratic tide that bolstered the party's presence in both houses of Congress, Obama snared about 62.4 million votes to McCain's 55.4 million, according to totals early Wednesday.

According to exit polls, Obama crushed McCain among women voters (56 percent to 43 percent); voters under 30 (66 percent to 32 percent); African-American voters (95 percent to 4 percent); Latino voters (66 percent to 32 percent); first-time voters (68 percent to 31 percent); and voters making less than $100,000 a year (55 percent to 43 percent).

"I think what we see ... is a new coalition, a new order emerging. It isn't quite there, but with Barack Obama, for the first time, it's won. It is the Latino vote we just heard about. It is the bigger black vote that came out. Very importantly, it's the youth vote, the 18-to-29-year-old," said the Harvard University professor and former presidential adviser.

Worst day ever. Not because Obama and his supporters won, because everyone else went on berserk hatred rampage.

EAT YOUR HEARTS OUT Faux News, the Christian Taliban (and your imams including Dr. James Dobson), the Muslim Taliban (and your imams, including Osama Bin Laden), homophobes, warmongers, racists, and elitist republicans in general. You are in the minority. Even manipulating the news and vote-counting machines were not enough to deny real Americans their voice. YOUR OX HAS DONE BEEN GORED!! CRY, BABY, CRY!

Because this is the story of the day. I don't know why everyone like this guy! He seems like another corrupted crook. How you think he got all this exposure and support from celebs and press? Like the other guy wrote: enjoy your honeymoon.

im not an american, infact it sickened me that here in canada more people cared about the us election then our own

I think maybe if people cared more about their own country and less about whats happening in the 'glamorous' US then everyone would be a little better off

Anyways, Obama's VP is gonna be the end of the internet, so enjoy it while you can guys

It effects everyone. Don't forget, there are many hardware vendors and game developers in the US.

I'm pretty sure Obama will do so even more than Clinton would have. I'm pretty confident America will change very much for the better over the next 4 years.
