| | | Google Chrome 0.2.149.27 | Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier. It has one box for everything: Type in the address bar and get suggestions for both search and web pages. Will give you thumbnails of your top sites; Access your favorite pages instantly with lightning speed from any new tab.
Google Chrome is an open source web browser developed by Google. Its software architecture was engineered from scratch (using components from other open source software including WebKit and Mozilla Firefox) to cater for the changing needs of users and acknowledging that today most web sites aren't web pages but web applications. Design goals include stability, speed, security and a clean, simple and efficient user interface.

| | | | 15 Comments | | | The interface is a bit noobish but the performance is amazing! | | | | thats because its the definition of bare bones lol | | | | i kinda like it to be honest More screen space less toolbars that i never used, only been 5 minutes so i cant give the best dianogstic decision on it.. | | | | WOW, i havent seen something that looks good and perform well like this browser do in a long time. Chrome simplicity remainds me of the mac interface, Im just missing the full screen feature. (and a linux port as well?) | | | | Geez.... best explore up to date It's simple... it come with tabs It's nice | | | | yeah.......its fast but thats about it. | | | | This is useless. If you want maximum speed with minimum bloat use lynx/w3m/links. If you need functional browser like everyone else there's Firefox and some inferior alternatives to pick from. |

| Quote | | | | | yea this thing is boring, ff works fast enough for me and i need my features, would go nuts without the mouse gestures, the ability to inlarge images and text just by draging over them and all the other great things i can make FF do | | | | Quote:

| Quote | | | | | I like this browser despite all of the debacle going on in the web. It's nice to actually use something comparable to Firefox in performance & speed, as a long time Firefox user I welcome change especially when simplicity is involved. Extensions & Plug-ins are right around the corner and I am sure there is more than meets the eye. | | | | google's never been one for making things incredibly customizable or expandable, chances are what you see now is more or less all its ever gonna be give or take a couple features they will likely add
i for one wont be bothering with this one | | | | You're right. Come to think of it, none of google's apps give the user much (if any) freedom for customization. At best this browser may be of some use if a portable version of it is made and even then it doesn't come close to touching portable opera.
Besides google aren't exactly adhering to their "don't be evil" code of conduct. |
