Nvidia 55nm parts are bad too
Posted by Chaos on August 29th, 2008, 01:23 AM

Hot on the heels of its denials that anything is wrong with the G92 and G94s comes another PCN that shows the G92s and G92b are being changed for no reason. Yup, the problems that are plaguing G84 and G86 are the same that affect seemingly all 65nm and now 55nm Nvidia parts.

Mine's G92-270-A2. I snapped a pic showing the core when I took off the stock cooler.

theinquirer are still sore from the time nvidia gave them false information.

So Nvidia cards don't cause cancer? theinquirer causes brain damage!

Just out of curiosity doesnt the PS3 have an 8 series nvidia GPU in it ?

its a custom 7 series, however since it uses a version of OpenGL, its not limited by the HDR+AA problem.

This is mostly B.S. A while back theenquirer said somthing like "It's not a matter of if the part will fail but when", well use your brain here - ALL PARTS WILL EVENTUALLY FAIL. I think a better(though less interesting) title would be "NO NVIDIA CHIPS LAST FOREVER". Just think about it, and even if you're an ATI fan you'll realize that most gamers are playing on nvidia hardware, and it still works. We would be hearing TONS of gamers bitching by now, not just some biased, unreliable "news" site.
