| | | AMD Ping Pong Demo 1.4 |
The Ping Pong demo illustrates some of the new graphical techniques made possible by the new features of Microsoft DirectX 10.1 and the ATI Radeon HD 3000 Series of graphics processors. First shown on the AMD "Codename: Spider" platform, the demo shows off a new lighting technique known as real-time global illumination, together with a scalable physics simulation optimized for multi-core systems. It's also interactive - move around the room and see how many ping pong balls you can maneuver into the goals. Demo pokazuje możliwości kart ati w directx 10.1, a seria hd2xxx obsługuje tylko dx10(.0), a skoro używa dx10.1 to nie uruchomisz jej na swojej karcie.
2900xt supports dx10(.0) and this demo will not work with this gpu, 'cos it needs card using dx10.1, this dx is supported by radeons hd3xxx and later. | | | | It's not an really new demo rofl... | | | | SpectatorX Wiem, że nie będzie go obsługiwać i umiem czytać. Dlatego napisałem, że szkoda, że nie będzie działało na moim radku, bo jestem ciekaw jak to wygląda...
I know it won't work on my card and that's why i wrote "Shame it won't work on my 2900xt." Coz it doesn't support DX 10.1. And I'am curious how does this look. | | | | Funny thing.
But I fail to see the reason in this, what exactly is this made for ? Just to show-out dx10.1 ? Thry should have made more eye-candy for that.. :/ | | | | Is there any game out there that uses Directx 10.1 ??? I had read somewhere that Diablo III is going to use 10.1. | | | | Quote:

Frankly, there likely won't be any/many games with 10.1 features as DX 11 is just around the corner and is a bigger bang for the buck than is 10.1. | | | | Quote:
