Nvidia ForceWare 177.83 WHQL

Nvidia Corporation has released a new official ForceWare driver. This driver supports Nvidia GeForce 8-series, 9-series, and 200-series desktop GPUs, including the newly released GeForce 9800 GTX+, 9800 GT, and 9500 GT GPUs. The driver adds support for Nvidia PhysX acceleration on all GeForce 8-series, 9-series and 200-series GPUs with a minimum of 256MB dedicated graphics memory. Nvidia PhysX System Software 8.08.01 is automatically installed with this driver package.

175.19 vs 177.83
3dmark06(1280) : 16850 - 16950
Crysis(1280 high) : 54,5 - 57,7 FPS
UT3(1280 MAX) : 132 - 166(hardware physx ON) FPS

What about image quality? 175.19's image quality is pretty awesome.

looks fine for me, didnt notice any "cuts" or artifacts etc... Looks like some free juice

Did/could you try it in single gpu mode as well so see if the boost is limited to SLI performance or not?

Overall performance boost % is quite same on single/SLI Not only in games that support physx! Also in Call of Duty 4 few FPS more.

Interestingly nvidia's download page still points Geforce 8 on winxp to 175.19. Give the disaster that happened last time, I think I'll wait just a little longer.

Well nvidia's website is always giving problems... Do not worry I was using them whole day in different games, movies etc - not a single problem. Since they are not default for 8800GT on the website I also was alerted but after checking both cards clocks temps etc I can now asure You that drivers work well with 8*** series

I think it's why I posted it with a Link to tweakforce...not my thing, if an other Site is faster with the Download and the Information.
