Nvidia Corporation has released a new official ForceWare driver. This driver supports Nvidia GeForce 8-series, 9-series, and 200-series desktop GPUs, including the newly released GeForce 9800 GTX+, 9800 GT, and 9500 GT GPUs. The driver adds support for Nvidia PhysX acceleration on all GeForce 8-series, 9-series and 200-series GPUs with a minimum of 256MB dedicated graphics memory. Nvidia PhysX System Software 8.08.01 is automatically installed with this driver package.
Nvidia made a blunder with their driver search. If one selects Geforce 8 on winxp you get 175.19. If 9800GTX on xp is selected you get 177.79 but 8800GT is in the supported products tab.

has anybody modded these drivers to run on 7900 series yet? i wanna try these but they wont let me install them on my 7950GT AGP 512mb card.....i tried a modified inf but the format has changed i believe and it still wouldnt take
This seems like a good set so i'm gonna stick with .83 for a while. I also tried .89 released today and performance was pretty much the same but a little bit lower on few games so I decided to revert back.
