NZXT Avatar Gaming Mouse
Posted by Chaos on August 8th, 2008, 02:02 PM

CaseKing is one of the few companies out there, which will not just sell anything. They only offer hardware that performs well and is of high quality. The shop carries quite a few exclusive parts and devices from all around the world and it is also the official distributor for a long list of well known manufacturers. Their assortment has grown substantially in recent years, while great service and support is still a very important part of the shop philosophy. The website may be in German, but due to great demand, an English version is in the works.

Today we get to look at the latest from NZXT. Their newest product is a mouse called "Avatar". NZXT has been putting a lot of thought into the device and we have seen samples at various shows before. The mouse is being released today and we are right along, giving you all the details on the input device.

I can't see the need for more than 1600dpi but that's just me.

yea its justa gimic, mine goes up to 3200 but honestly ive never used it bast 1600, and alot of the time its on 800 because i need it for persicion, there is no need for a mouse pointer to go that fast, ever

This is what works for me. I can switch my dpi on the fly but very rarely need to do it midgame.
dpi=1600 --> Most assault rifles and melee attacks
dpi=1200 --> Strategy games
dpi<=800 --> Sniper rifles (In fact when sniping at extreme range from cover, 400dpi works best)
A good mouse pad that offers the right grip, control and feeling is a lot more important than having insanely high dpi.
