Sun previews JavaFX

JavaFX lets developers build Rich Internet Applications (RIF), which the company says can be used across multiple clients, such as PCs, mobile and TV. This application brings together 2D/3D graphics, "high fidelity audio and video" and animation. The end result of this development platform, says Sun, is "new content that combines the best capabilities of the existing Java platform with new immersive media services, which can be securely accessed from mobile phones, desktop browsers, TV and other consumer devices."
