Do you think these 177+ drivers will support quad Sli for me? On the nvidia website it only says support for three-way sli on 200 series.

I think there is a chance it might work, I would like to try anyway but I dont know how to modify the ini file so i can install it.

can someone tell me the process to do it please..?

Great, thanks - i'll give them a go.

I also downloaded some leaked beta 177.66 drivers from Guru yesterday which are working pretty well for me on quad Sli - give them a try, they're good set

I only had time to do a quick test with these 177.66 betas but the performance is definitely better for 9800 series cards than the 175.19 crappy drivers, however i think they are still having some stability issues as i did suffer BSOD.

Hopefully they will release a whql version soon, the performance is good, with any luck they'll optimise and stabilise it properly first - then they would be a really good set.

The 177.41 drivers installed on my 9800 cards perfectly using the modded .ini file (thanx nCaine)
- including Quad Sli - I saw no real difference when installing them and the 175+ drivers, I wonder why they bother saying that they are for 200 series cards exclusively?

The 177.41 performance was certainly better than the 175.19 but not as good as the newer 177.66 betas so i think i'll stick with them for the time being even though they are a little unstable - at least until someone releases a new set (preferably optimised WHQL and stable pleaase!)

No problemo mate , im driver freak a lil , sticking with the 177.66 for now.

After some testing , i reverted back to 174.74 it has superior performance to any 175.xx 176.xx and 177.xx driver.

not if you are playing games that are based on the U2 engine.

Yea maybe , but what the point , i can run any U2 title i have at max , with no probs on my rig , i use vSync and T.Buffering , so fps i caped at 75 anyway . So its better for me to have driver that runs other engines good as well .
