let us people get our games on DISKS
i hate downloading gb's every day...
eg. you buy HL2 (steam account) then you have to dl 6gb over net... awesome on slow lines :/
some time back you bought a dvd got home installed and you were able to play after a few minutes! | | | | that and most ISP's have bandwidth limits, ours is 30 gigs a month, and if you go over that you end up paying rediculous ammounts of money | | | | Steam is great IMO. You don't have to redownload content, you can backup it up on CDs and then restore it. | | | | the problem is having to download it in the first place | | | | Unreal Tournament 2004: Editor's Choice Edition Hmm? Well I've got UT3 and for all the graphics improvements, smooth performance and neat additions I still prefer UT2K4 (even though I no longer have it). UT3 feels like it's been reduced in some way, maybe it's just console crapification syndrome. | | | | Quote:
