Previously reported, Palit was rumored to acquire Galaxy. We talked to Galaxy's PR person at Cebit 2008 who assured us that Galaxy will not be bought out and will remain it's own company. Galaxy is known for building their own reference boards for video cards and motherboards - with fewer PCB, higher quality components to offset pricing for the end-user without reducing product reliability.
