It seems that the guys from PurePwnage are very upset about Futuremark’s attempt to trademark the word “Pwnage”. If you’re unaware, Canadian PurePwnage have a comedy internet show about gaming since April 2004. According to a post on their official site, they are planning to take “appropriate steps” to protect their intellectual property and prevent Futuremark from having a trademark on the word “Pwnage”. From my information, PurePwnage’s concerns are pretty justified due to legal reasons, and maybe Futuremark should reconsider that.
