AMD Delays HD Radeon 3870 X2

We were just alerted that the launch of AMD's Radeon HD 3870 X2 graphics card has been pushed back to January 28th. AMD's new dual GPU graphics card was supposed to launch tomorrow but for unknown reasons, the launch has been pushed back. One possible reason could be due to the fact that AMD is looking to have good stock quantity for this launch as it probably is a product that could do well for the struggling company.

Will be awaiting the launch might be something I would look into for my upgrade depending on the price

well their gonna run about 440$ appernetly, way cheapther then 8800 ultra and better performence, im hoping it will drop a few bucks by the time i go to build my next system in the next 2-3 months because it looks like the card ill be going with

I have it on good authority that the delay is due to some "serious driver issues" that need to be addressed before the card is released publicly. Hopefully, it's just driver issues and not some hardware issues.
