Already installed it, it downloads a a self-extracting zip that will extract 3 files, a batch script (to remove some keys in registry - that will enable you to get some updates through the Windows Update), and some readme files in xps format (new pdf like format by MS, you can open them with IE7).

Do I understand that you have to actually have the SP1 RC1 installed for the Refresh download to work?

So, since I didn't install the first yet, this one is OK to install? What type of results are you all getting?

Frankly, I'm quite satisfied with how my OEM 32-bit Home Premium is working just with the Updates I've gotten since installation. So, I'm not quite convinced -- yet -- that I need to be bothered with these beta SPs.

I didnt need to remove SP1 RC1 to install the refresh thing.Im using the Vista OEM 32bit Home Premium. Performance in games increased, SP1 really makes the difference, you dont need SP1 to have this performance increase thought, just download the splitted hotfix packages found in a forum somewhere (sorry I dont remember where).
