Multi-Device Wireless Charger Review @ FastSilicon

Ever have a problem with multiple device chargers and cords splayed across the floor? One company has finally shown some innovation in the portable power market. WildCharge inc. has the world's only wireless charging system. The technology has garnered a spot on TIME Magazine's list of the best inventions of 2007. In addition, the gadget has won the International Consumer Electronics Show 2008 Best of Innovations Award in the portable power category. The device is called the "Wildcharger" and is capable of charging up to five devices simultaneously without any wired connections.

Now before the wet dreams pile up about devices charging in a pocket, the device still requires physical contact with a charging pad.

I had one regardless.

thats really cool but im dieing to know just how that works, i mean how does it transfer power? most of the devices have no metal componants that would come in contact with the pad so there must be soem form of radiation, so how does it nor scramble and fry everything on your device? would sure love to hear some technical info on this thing.


Edit: oh i see, i guess i should have read it lol, you gotta get a new backplat (which dosnt exist) to fit your peticular device so that its got metal points that will come in contact with it, well thats not so cool anymore lol, not very exciting at all.
