ATITool 0.27 Beta 3
Posted by Regeneration on November 28th, 2007, 04:03 PM

Our good friend W1zzard has released a new beta build of his greatest overclocking tool. ATITool is an overclocking utility designed for ATI video cards. Design target is to write a light-weight application for the enthusiast - so no questionable registry tweaks. This release adds full Windows Vista (x32/x64) and Windows XP x64 support. This release offers support for the latest RV670 GPU as well.

Cool hope it solves the X1950 issue as mentioned the first 2 beta DL links were pulled on this one because of Vista issues he needed to address. I managed to get both but still crashed on my X1950 ... fingers crossed

Release Notes:

0.27 Beta 3
- Full Vista and XP64 support
- Support for all ATI RV6xx ASICs
- No changes to R600 support in this build
- Better support for multiple adapters
- Latest NVIDIA non-WHQL drivers with some G8x cards not supported
- Better handling of clock step sizes
- Fixed vertex/pixel/unified shader reporting
- Added detection for about 20 older and newer ATI ASICs

11:20 AM CET - Updated the download:
- Fixed crash on X1950 and similar GPUs
- HD2900 can now switch to 3D clocks again

This doesn't work with the new Cat 7.11 here perhaps some feedback is needed. Works with limited capacity on the X1950 using Cat 7.10, 7.10 rc4 and the Omegas based on 7.10.

Not fixed here looking forward to the final release
