326 Photos from AMD's Spider Launch Event
Posted by Regeneration on November 26th, 2007, 10:54 PM

While Steve and I were working on the HD 3850 Review, AMD and the European press were celebrating with good food, alcohol, briefings, presentations and parties at AMD’s Spider Launch event in Warsaw, Poland. Today we’re publishing 326 photos from Warsaw, this is your chance to see how AMD “treats” the invited press with such pleasures, no one can resist – Hahaha. Eat your hearts out.

now seriosly i have never been dissapointed by a product from amd/ati and i have been using them since i was around 10 yr old so the ass kissing is well deserved in my opinion and based on my experice with amd/ati products also gigabyte was beside me everystep .... also do you guys know where i could find that cool wallpaper with the spider and everything

Well now they had a band and didn't invite me to play guitar LOL

Some good pics and looks like they had a good time ..... on another note after what we have seen on the Phenom so far the AMD guys may have had a good reason to get smashed

You sign up in their PRs, then you gotta give them some good interviews, then a few positive reviews and to be their slave for like 12 months. lol.

Yo Eran would it be possible for me to do PR, then give some good interviews, then a few positive reviews for Anna Kournikova ..........

I wouldn't mind being her slave for 12 months

it's not that easy, they didn't even invited me. And instead of Anna Kournikova, you need to say Anna Carzana.

Before I used to be Anti-AMD, but since Core 2 launch i think that Intel is really fucking (sorry!) people beyond belief. I mean honestly you can get a equal-performing CPU from AMD a lot less expensive. And AMD is the much smaller company! Intel has got money flowing out of their ears they could easily drop Core2 price below AMD's prices and still make dubious profits.

This is how i like a company. Open-Minded and receptive. Would definitely have liked to be there. At least they dont have a secretive and ''closed to strangers'' Intel-Like corporative ego.

Police investigators have found the body of a man dumped on the outskirts of Florida. While the cause of death is unknown a large number of tennis balls were retrieved from the victim's intestines. Foul play suspected.

Back on topic and responding to IModIntel's comment ......

Thats the way it was in Markham at ATI when I visited there ... perhaps some of that did rub off on AMD after the merger
