Crysis Leaked
Posted by Regeneration on November 11th, 2007, 06:26 PM

While these who have pre-ordered (At least I did) the game are still waiting for Crytek and Electronics Arts to unlock it and launch it officially, the known game cracking group Razor1911 have cracked and leaked the game to the web. Therefore, pirates can now obtain the game illegally and play it right away, without paying or waiting. Yet again, the honest and paying consumer is eating eggs, while pirates are having fun.

Well I think I just made a comment about this on the Crysis pre-order thread anything using a serial or key to activate is going to be cracked

Yes, im not a huge fan of pirates my self. But in the case of Crysis I think its great, Crytek get what they deserve!! Trying to dupe ppl in to buying new hardware for this game, which it doesnt seem to really take advantage off?? No seriously, every software maker that make great products deserve some payment. But pirates are here to stay, this is further proof that discipline and moral values are plummeting down in the world of or Age of internet.

I have no other choice. Plus I get to try before I realize it's not worth buying (even if I could)!

Razor1911 are the greatest release group i have ever had the pleasure of using.
i started using thier stuff with the Starcraft release, which i have since bought (yes, release groups do promote people to buy the software)

Well from what I have read this "release" crashes on Vista X64 so nothing is ever perfect

VistaX64 is the problem
not the release :P

That was my initial thoughts as well but seems its crashing on startup ... guess we will have to see on the 14th there is someone on the forum who pre-ordered and is running X64 so will await his feedback

i've seen similar issues on the Beta

I'll buy the game anyway, because whatever we could say,Crytek has always been a kick-ass game maker, with great ideas that always give us an awesome game experience...

Too bad they integrate EA games, and fall under the nvidia influence, but I'll support them anyway

So it was the "release" and not the game itself thats what I figured. When I first heard about the issue I was also quick to think ohh ya its Vista what a POS ... but with all the DX10 hype how lame would it be for a software developer not to test the software on X64 before release
