Nvidia GeForce 8800GT Reviews
Posted by Regeneration on October 28th, 2007, 11:26 PM

While most of the important online hardware sites are being total slaves, three brave websites that decided to disregard the NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) and to publish their reviews before the time. To summarize it all up: the GeForce 8800GT seems like a very good product! It performs nearly to the GeForce 8800GTX, but a lot cheaper (around to $250 bucks). If you thought about getting a Radeon HD 2900 PRO, then the GeForce 8800GT would be a better choice by performance and availability. You can read the full reviews in the following three brave sites: BootDaily, TweakTown and VR-Zone. While Nvidia have a lot of rude people in the public relations and marketing department, but when it comes to hardware, the company deserves some credit.

If it's that good the GTX needs a price drop.

I'm afraid 8800GT price will grow very fast... If it's stands on ~250$ the prices of 8800 GTS GTX HD2900 Pro XT would have to drop a lot. I doubt they'll let it be so good.
