A Tagan (Power Supplies Manufacturer) staff member called ‘Benson’ has published a comment on Tagan’s forum accusing HardOCP and ‘many websites’ for giving gold awards in reviews depending on advertisement rates. HardOCP has published Benson's comment on their front page and denied all the accusations. Anyhow, if Benson really believes in his opinion, why is Tagan giving all the review samples to sites like HardOCP instead of giving it to more reliable review sites?

Anyway, here is Benson’s full comment: “Do we really need to spend $20,000 per ad to get top award... I don't want to talk about other brand of PSU that has gotten gold award but in this industry we know who makes high quality PSU, high performance, and true wattage and which well known company with lots of recall or markup on the wattage ratings. You won't believe how many websites gives gold awards depending on how much advertisement you do with them.”
