Nvidia is making a big deal about the fact that it can overclock the Shader processors and as of November there will be a part of Ntune that will support this feature. You can already do this with Rivatune 2.05 and this is the direction that Nvidia wants to take with its current and next generation hardware. It looks like Nvidia wants to keep the memory clocks separated from the GPU clock speed as this turned out to be a good thing. D8P, G92 or Geforce 8800 GT will use this technology.

Here is what you get thanks to Riva Tuner 2.05. As you can see by default the Core and Shader clocks are linked while the memory clocks are not.
