EA kills ‘EA Link’
Posted by Regeneration on October 1st, 2007, 02:18 PM

It seems that the folks in Electronic Arts were very unhappy with EA Link aka EA Downloader, which is a Annoying-Java-based-steam-clone. Anyway, EA has killed EA Link and now purchases are available only from EA Store site. However, they launched a lite application called ‘EA Download Manager’ to replace EA Link to handle downloads. Well, basically, this is some good news for all of us, since EA Link pretty sucked (Java, issues, slow and bloated).
