While I didn't back my car over the Survivor to "crash test" it, the drive has a solid feel, and certainly looks like it could stand up to quite a bit of abuse. The water resistance is a nice plus, given that the drive is meant to be carried around, leading to the possibility of dropping it in a puddle, toilet, swimming pool, etc. You can rest assured that the Survivor will handle it all.
