Intel To Acquire Havok

Intel Corporation today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Havok Inc., the leading provider of interactive software and services used by digital media creators in the game and movie industries. Havok will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel.

I still find it odd, it's not just the ATI lineup that has been late but AMD's processors have been all delayed since the acquisition, now with the 2400/2600 video cards ATI has regained the OEM market share from Nvidia. I think the transition is starting to settle and with any luck both entities will be back strong in 08
