But, it's nice to know that NGO has it handy, too. | | | | actually Dyre i am puzzled by that number specially if you have anything above 750kbps download stream. sure i wouldnt expect you to get 100% but i can guess that if i got 92 out of 1300 i would be dissapointed. have u maybe tried segment downloading incase u were capped on the way per connection? just out of curiosity i would love to know how that pends out :-). | | | | Quote:

Anywhere I download from is faster than any download for me from NGO.
Keep in mind, though, I'm in SE USA (Atlanta, GA).
Take a look at the latest attempt in the screenshot below. Never fear, though, I got the demo and have finished it already. Creepy cool!!! |

| Quote | | | | | Dyre, where did you get it? I can't get more than 100 kb/s anywhere I go, even torrents. | | | | | | Interesting will have to check it out on the weekend | | | | it's pretty for sure, and somewhat twisted, uses the new Unreal Engine but it runs fine @ 1920x1200 on my rig | | | | I hope it runs fine on my rig at 1280x1024, since I also plan on getting UT3 and GoW PC. | | | | runs more then grate on a P4 HT 3GHZ oced to 3.6ghz with a x1950pro 512mb agp and 1gb of ram at 1900x1200 with everything on. but at the same time it wont run on this machine and noticed alot of NVIDIA card owners cant get the game running even with the all so mighty 163.44 they released specially .
game looks nice sucks there is no AA even at 1900x1200 its noticable and was expecting more out of the all mighty U3 engine.... thats my 2 cents.... | | | | Quote:

ohh and i didt ask you for nothing if u tried using SEGMENT downloading just to c if that solves that problem using FDM or GETRIGHT or wany client that lets you segment downloads.
for me its a must since i have 2x5mb lines in load balancing so the only way to boost it up to its full potential would be segment enabled. | | | | Quote:

It's possible to have AA + deferred shading in DX10, though.
The aliasing doesn't look as bad in this game as it does in a lot of other games because of the bloom, though. |

| Quote | | | | | hmmmm point well taken never noticed in the older u3 engine demoes that AA wasnt present, since imm pretty sure that back then they didnt have any dx10 orientation. so maybe thats the reason, but who knows i fear even Unreal 2007 or 3 or how ever they are calling it wont portray the amazing potential shown in the u3 engine demoes a while back. shame...
and bioshock gave me a doomish/quake fear vibe with some of those dark textures not always as high detailed as i want with extra glare on a Unreal engine.. not that its bad but feels abit weird on me. |

2 days to go for release in the UK and my games been shipped, i cant wait. | | | | Quote:
