| | | Diamond HD 2900XT 1GB Review @ TR | This card, with a staggering 128 GB/s of memory bandwidth, raises a number of intriguing questions about the role of memory bandwidth, the question of graphics memory size (how much is enough?) and most of all, the potential of AMD's R600 GPU. Some time has passed since the 2900 XT's debut, drivers have had time to mature, and here we have a faster version of the card. Can this new 2900 XT take on Nvidia's best? Are the matchups altered in DirectX 10 games? And how does the UVD-less 2900 XT really perform in HD video playback? Read on for all of these answers and more. i dont beleave this "review" its almost propeganda. | | | | | | For the SupCom benchmark, he said "I've omitted CrossFire results due to some compatibility problems with this game.", making it sound like just ATI has problems. But no dual-GPU solutions work in SupCom. | | | | You’re right. Review’s reliability has been reduced in the last years. You can’t know which reviews are real, biased or noobs. We can’t trust reviews anymore in these days, and commercialism took over the entire business. I remember once THG wrote some bad things about ATI because they used Chuck Patch on HL2.
Now everyone uses the same games (Which all of them were made by Nvidia’s partners) instead of random games. Everyone uses the same games and they wonder why they are cheating. And other sites are having problems with reviews since all these manufacturers are a fucking Mafia. Anyway, you see sites with different benchmark results, viral marketing, some review sites are owned by manufacturers, and some others are close friends. Basically, the reliability is totally dead in these days. |
