| | | AMD Athlon64 X2 BE-2350 Review @ AMDZone | We've just past the one year anniversary of the Core 2 Duo processor's release so that isn't too far off all things considered. Where AMD has been able to improve is upon their pricing, staying very competitive with Intel's processors and also in the performance per watt aspect. Today we have a processor from AMD which specifically targets the low power market, the new Athlon X2 BE-2350. In the game benchmarks mostly, the Athlons performed very well. Or Intel using viral marketing to make confusion among consumers, or people doesn’t know it because there is lack of the latest Athlon processor reviews.
Yet again, AMD is losing just because of their poor marketing practices. I’d fire all these clowns in their marketing department. You know what’s even funnier? These clowns actually took over ATI’s marketing as well. Well, probably because their ‘father’ is working in the company. Wrong people in wrong positions how sad.
I don’t think AMD/ATI will survive in the long-term. Too many idiots, too many critical mistakes. If they will continue with these mistakes, I don’t see any future for them, both Intel and Nvidia are growing larger every day while AMD is shrinking.
Another dumb mistake is the death of Socket 939, instead of providing upgrade flexibility and keep these customers, they sent them to Intel with that AM2 joke. They should hire new marketers and they really should offer 939 processors too. | | | | You should see the tomshardware forums. Someone asks about the right cpu for his socket am2 motherboard and the first two pages are full of crazy noobs screaming 0MG C2D! During this period the original poster's heritage, race, age, hardware, integrity is all under attack while various pictures of brick walls, people with foot in their mouths and various animals are posted.
With that said the 3600 x2 brisbane overclocks much better at stock, upper limit, and overvolted conditions. | | |
