ATI Radeon HD 2400XT Review
Posted by Regeneration on June 27th, 2007, 06:26 PM

It seems that Hartware has published a review of ATI’s upcoming mainstream GPU - The Radeon HD 2400XT. The review is originally in German, but benchmarks speak universal language anyway. And you cause Google Site Translator to convert some if to English as well. Oh, and yeah, you should read it quickly before ATI asks them to remove it (NDA).

prett weak, even the 8500 is better. i hope that the 2600 will kinda kick some 8600 ass ( because i intend to buy one i think a 2600 pro )

I don't think the 2600 series is going to be able to compete with the 8600GTS
From what Ive seen AMD is running ATI straight into the ground, they wont last much longer at this rate but we shall see.

R600 was in development long before AMD bought ATI. R600 was a bad egg that got tossed to AMD at the last second before splattering everyone with well...

remember when AMD decided to reschedule R600 launch date?
if ATi would launch the GPUs at that time ... maybe .. just maybe ... they might've been in some other "light"
who knows ... now, ATi is just dead meat

I would like to see the 2600 kick Nvidia's ass also to be honest, I like both ATI and Nvidia, I prefer ATI because of the awesome drivers and quality, but AMD is sinking ever so slowly and ATI is trying to stay dry but I feel eventually they will get there feet wet. they should have never sold out to AMD, AMD was smart to do this because I think they had a feeling Intel was going to cost them a lot of money in the long run as you see now and ATI was a last ditch effort for marketing to keep AMD alive, this is just my perception of it anyhow.

Whats the point of ATI releaseing such substandard products so late, I myself am not into the low end GPU market but ATI are slowly turning themselves into 3DFX......
