the original was a great game, i was about 7 when i first saw it. my mom would play it while my brother and i watched. we would tell her were to go, it brings back memories.

i actually still have the Gold version with two extra missions, and i got it working on my ancient Pentium 166 MHZ laptop (32 SdRam). it runs very nice, but the graphics are terrible, likely because i am now use to my 8800GTS pumping out a crap load better resolutions.

What ws all the fuss about - Tomb Raider was only Prince of Persia in 3D, and to my mind a not very playable version. Prince of Persia is the superior games - only equalled IMHO by Flashback. But, really, at the time I felt TR was very ackward to play and not much fun
