Sapphire Launches HD 2400 and HD 2600 Ultimate Series

Sapphire Technology has just announced that in addition to the new HD 2600 and HD 2400 series of graphics accelerators scheduled for release in July, the range will include the new completely passively cooled Sapphire HD 2600 XT ULTIMATE Edition. Sapphire’s ULTIMATE Editions are renowned for the key features of overclocking for enhanced performance and silent running.

I think this is where ATI could strike back after the humiliation of the 2900XT, however given the specs for these cards I doubt they'll be anything special - most probably on par with 8600 cards - but we will see

nop its a sapphire mistake to put 128bit memory on this cards
they are trying to get more money for 2600 by using a cheaper memory
