Final AMD Stars Models Unveiled @ DailyTech

AMD is preparing the launch of its next-generation K10-derivedStars-family single, dual and quad-core processors. The next-generation Stars-family splits into three different brand names – Phenom, Athlon and Sempron. Ringing in the flagship is three Agena FX-based AMD Phenom FX processors. AMD has yet to confirm clock speeds for the three models; however, the latest roadmap reveals ballparks for the processors.

looking at the specs its good to see AMD continuing the K8 lineagefor another year.

Still doesn't convince me to go over to AMD. I'm personally waiting for the Intel 45nm Wolfsdale.

We'll see how things pan out, but I won't rule out AMD so soon - after all Intel have made mistakes - P4 is still freash in my memory

Yeah, i have to admit i made a mistake by buying my P4 that i got now three years ago when i could have gotten a better Athlon 64 or something, like a 4000+ at that time methinks...
