| | | Radeon HD 2900XT To Launch on 14th of May @ TweakTown | Reading around today, some over excited folk got their wires crossed and claimed AMD would be launching their upcoming R600XT on May 2nd. That’s simply not correct – Nvidia is launching the 8800 Ultra on May 2nd at a retail price of at least $999 USD but supply will be very low due to yield and pricing related issues. The word on the streets of Taipei tells us that unless Nvidia reduce their 8800 Ultra pricing, you’ll have a hard time actually buying this part.

Also one may have trouble buying an 8800 Ultra - but you will be able to..unlike R600 - esp. XTX versions. Good Luck. | | | | Quote: |

Let's start from the beginning: One day, Alfred O'Connor stated that all onions should be carried with brown bags, because brown is the color of his family blazon, and of course they couldn't carry garlic, as garlic means 'eye' in old Ashasturian dialet. So, trying to see - eye, got it? - how far the onions were, Thomas - the oldest son of Alfred - by accident create a new instrument which he named Oximoron, and then he, Laika (his alpha-dog) and Joe Cipriani went to Fort Lauderdale. When there, the Pope asked for a better rig, so Alfred (O'Connor, remember?) said that maybe - just maybe - they should wait a bit longer for ATI; but, if he is in such a hurry, he could use his temporal authority to access Vatican treasure reserves, and buy one of the top 3 NVidia's performing cards on the market . | | | | ROFL
And lets see how the card performs when it REALLY comes out | | | | Quote: |

The long wait continues... | | | | I have no intention to turn over to Nvidia. I fell loyal to the Intel / ATi combo. | | | | Quote: |

I accept you loyalty, but believe me the corps do not appreciate it.
Just wait for the benchs of R600 and get whatever proves the best for your cash. My advice is get a 8800GTS320 - and watch the FPS roll in! | | | | ehehehhehehehehehehehehehe

my advice is to wait next year
becouse all new dx10 cards are for shit

fuck them and their DirectShit10 cards | There'll be no DX10 war now ATI have given the white flag at long last, no competition I believe until 2008 once ATI have sorted R600 out - even if they can?
My advice to you is not all DX10 cards are low achievers like 8600, try a 8800 GTS 320 - for the money the performance on todays games is great. | | |
