If you want additional performance, in the vast majority of cases, you can gain it by adding on more rendering pipelines or a second (identical) graphics processing unit. Graphics applications and games scale very well with additional rendering power under the hood, as shown by both Nvidia's SLI and ATI's Crossfire technologies, which can be traced all the way back to the 3DFX Voodoo2, which was utilized the same core concepts.

The sad thing about all these ‘Dual Core’ cards are the available amounts of units. I doubt these cards are available in the shops. They are making only a limited amount of units (1-500) and they do it just for the press, to look good in the cover. I couldn’t find any Asus Dual Card, Gigabyte 3D1, GeCube Gemini, Galaxy Masterpiece, etc.. ,etc.. in any of the shops I know. So please, stop making products for the press FFS.
