Catalyst 7.3 Causes BSOD in Vista @ ExtremeTech

The new Catalyst drivers, released March 28, in rare cases, have a problem with Windows Vista that causes the notorious blue screen of death (a blue screen with white, which indicates that Windows has run into a serious, show-stopping problem). If you frequent message boards of PC and gaming enthusiast sites such as those at Rage3D, HardOCP and DriverHeaven, you may have seen everything from level-headed problem reports to flames full of foaming rage over the problem. Hmmm considering the ever growing list of driver and software compatibility issues with Vista is ATI really the issue ? And the last two Cat versions have seen improvements running under XP. I predict your going to see another 6 months of issues with Vista and not just with ATI drivers !!

Yeah, all drivers for Vista( from any manufacturers that is) are crap now. So you can't really be mad at ATi because EVERYBODY is having problems with all the vista drivers.

There's a host of these reports over at DH, too. Probably 90%+ of the problems posted are on VISTA rigs.
