Well to buy a motherboard with only an agp slot would definitely be money thrown out the window, and since you have an agp card, you can't buy a pci-e only one. You might want to check out some of the Asrock combo ones like these:

i have a hard time understainding the question.
you want a new motherboard it does not matter if its amd or intel?
currently you are on a socket 478.
the best motherboard on that socket is the P4P800-e and the P4C800-e.

i cant recomend the PCI-e AGP combo mobo's because the speed of the AGP slot is limited.

amd cpu doesnt fit in a intel mobo and vice versa, we are not in the socket7 area anymore.

Stop buying intel. You're killing AMD.

The AGP slot isn't limited and even if the pci-e slot runs on 8x, thats pretty good for a combo motherboard. Asrock motherboards are very economical, yet the quality is acceptable. The only thing that was negative when i had mine was the overclocking.

If you want a skt775 mobo with agp only, then go with the ASUS P5S800SE (not Conroe compatible), P5PE-VM (MicroATX, AGP, Conroe compatible, but only 2 dimm slots) or P5P800-VM (same as first onlt MicroATX)

You're welcome

ASrock motherboards are a division of ASUS motherboards but ASUS does it on purpose to cut features and quality to cut down the price. Yeah, i'm an ASUS fan because i've had ASUS boards 7/10 times and they were the ones that satisfied me the most.

If you are looking to overclock your PC a lot though, go with DFI or Abit instead. Besides that, go with ASUS
