Hello everyone, i just saw the gigabyte mb "GA-VM800-PMC" and i saw this
Intel E6700(2.66GHz,4MB)1066N/A Intel E6600(2.4GHz,4MB)1066N/A Intel E6400(2.13GHz,2MB)1066N/A Intel E6300(1.86GHz,2MB)1066N/A Intel E4300(1.8GHz,2MB)800F1the last one is the worst dual core, but for the others are not tested, what do you say guys, i want the e6700 cpu.... anyone knows if it will work....

Just so you know, it's not only the Intel Core2's that are dual core. There is the 8xx series (Smithfield), the 9xx series (Presler) and the Core2 series (e4xxx, e6xxx)

But if you want Intel Core2 support and AGP go with the ASUS P5PE-VM (to make it work with an Intel Core2 cpu though, you might need too flash the bios to the latest version)

well everyone, this will be my computer, tell me if something it's wrong:
mb---> ASUS p5p800-vm
cpu--> Pentium D 3.6 (960)
AGP-> Ati Radeon X850 Pro
Memory> Kingstone Dual Channel 2gb
PSU> 520 w

Pentium D
P5P800-VM
Kingston

Looks good jaiva. And if you want to upgrade you video card, get an AGP Ati X1950 Pro (1 or two manufacturers make the XT AGP model, but i dont remember)
