Dyre hit the nail on the head with the 80-pin cable picture !

I believe that a yellow/red connector is usually UDMA66 (unless it comes with a DFI board as they come color-coded and uv-reactive), and a blue connector is UDMA100. I can't be sure on the UDMA66 color though as it has been sooooo long since I've owned one !

Kirill, if you have 2 80-pin cables, it doesn't matter which one you use. They should both have the same wiring, same connectors, and same pin holes . Just make sure the blue/yellow/red connector goes to the mainboard (usually that end has the larger gap between connectors as well). That's a funny cable though Dyre, because don't 40/80 pin cables have 1 pin hole that is blocked off. Just under the install guide notch?

Anyways. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you are having IModIntel, and that you have to put out for a new mobo. Hopefully it isn't costing you a fortune. I'm sure the performance will all but make up for it !

Yeah, they received it at the shop, but they have to keep it in stock until i can pay. Remember, I'm only 15 years old, don't have a job, going to school, and so I have to beg to mommy and poppy.

As impatient as I am, I went mad simply because of an IDE issue, and so the result is my configuration on the left.....

You're so right about that. Great catch!!!

Here's one I'm holding in my hand and just took a quick shot of it using my PC Camera. Hope it comes up good enough....

Well, as you can see I now have my new motherboard, the ASUs P5B. I think it was something like 188$CAN tax included. I don't have the IDE lag anymore. It definitely has a clear advantage over my MSI board I had. There is ONLY ONE issue with this board that i did not have on the MSI P965 Neo-F. Since I ordered a dual slot videocard I am going to lose some of the more usefull PCI slots instead of a useless (for now) PCI-E 1x slot. Any ways thanx a lot for your support guys. You helped me a lot.
