#1 | | Professional Member | | GPU: GeForce 6800 ultra (mod) | | New mobo: DFI x GIGABYTE, which one? I'll buy one new video card, probably this one --> ASUS EN8800GTS/HTDP/640M GeForce 8800GTS 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP , in february'07. Thing is, I'll also buy another mobo, but in this area I don't know nothing, and in a 1rst moment I thought in a duel DFI ( http://us.dfi.com.tw/Product/xx_prod...YPE=LP&SITE=US) x Gigabyte ( http://www.giga-byte.com.tw/Products...me=GA-945GM-S2). For my new rig, I already have one E6600 Intel processor+Samsung 931C 19" LCD Monitor.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

#2 | | Even Simpler | | CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 | | | GPU: Nvidia GF9400+9600M GT | | | M/B: Apple MacBookPro v5.1 | | | RAM: 2x2Gb Samsung/Mac DDR3 | | | PSU: 85w MagSafe External | | It all depends what you really want to do with your system. If you want rock-solic stability: ASUS. If you want 'OK' quality go with the Gigabyte. If you want to do some extreme tweaking to your PC, your best bet i say would be with DFI.
Hope this helps... |

The very first PC I bought...waaaaaayyyyy back in 1992 had a DFI mobo in it. That was an AST DX33 system. It was the only DFI board I've had. It also was still in use a few years ago after being handed down from one family member to another. I'm sure it's collecting dust...or rust somewhere these days.

also DS3 with rev C2 chips is avirable
for the high-end board i recommend abit AW9D-MAX if u want 975X chips
another choise is 680i that not releasing yet cos ****ing n not sell the chips
if u gonna run SLI then u must use n chips if we cant patch lol
i recommend for IL9 32X is worth than Striker Extheme
too bad the board isnt officially announced yet so i can only say IL9 32X is monsterious board
or wait for DFI UT ICFX3200-T2R lol |
