Default anyone experienced in updating ABIT AN7's bios??

ok its my first time yet to update my own bios. n i just need to confirm some details. ABIT has FlashMenu that's suppose to make bios updating easy rite? would that way b sufficient or y'all prefer the ol skool way done in bios itself?? which ones better n error proof for a newbie like me?

after updating bios using the FlashMenu, do we still have to reset cmos using jumper? or is that only applies to bios updating done in bios itself? which one comes first? flash the bios first or update chipset drivers first? basically, i need to confirm the overall steps thoroughly first before [heart beating nervously] proceeding...
