Asus A8N is a poor overclocker?

Jeez the maximum CPU voltage for Venice/Winchester is 1.55v, Too low for me, maybe someone should ask Asus to increase it to something around 1.8v.

They don't want overclock madness lol, I didn't know about it, but I got good speeds on my A8N no sli, I'm not an overclocker so I love that board.

Something like the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum that maxes out at 2.85V for the DIMM voltage?

I had to buy the OCZ DDR Booster to feed my OCZ EL Gold Dual Channel some more voltage. Currently running 3.4V to the memory and bumped the HTT from 200mhz to 240mhz at timings of 2-2-2-5 all the way. Not too shabby at all, and extremely stable! I ran Sandra tests and boosted over 500 marks for memory alone. No problems encoding entire movies or songs or even running the torture test of Prime95...

I do think next time I will go with a DFI LanParty board when I go PCIExpress. Possibly even SLi..
