i got a aldi pc with the Mobo 7091 but i cant overclock it in my bios doesn anyone got a new bios for me??

Medion has hidden the extra features behind a passworded section of the BIOS ... you will need to hold down F10 to get to these advanced features... I dont know what the password is.

However I bet that if you pull your BIOS battery for about an hour with the machine unplugged you will be able to reset this passworded section.

Just put the battery back in after about an hour, plug the system back in, and hold down F10 to get into the higher functions...

It may work, then again it may not...

In any case NGOhq, and all the people here can not be held liable for anything that you do to your computer.

If you can get a picture of the motherboard to me, I can talk to some of my buddies at MSI, and possibly get you a modified BIOS for your system.... However, I am going to need a very good picture of the systems motherboard.

If I can help I will ... but please keep in mind that toying around with the BIOS on your motherboard is a good way to viod your warranty!

And no one but yourself can be held liable for anything that you attempt to do to your motherboard.

are you any good at adding missing entires to bios's?

my mobo has the ability to have the voltage adjusted, but there is no voltage settings in the bios

and i have already checked myself and found that there are no hidden voltage adjustments either


Im on an Ak77-600GN (KT600)
running Bios revision 1.08

Phoenix - Award 6.00 bios

i have a the 1.08 bin still if that is needed

i know that there must be some way to add voltage settings to it becoz they add new features to bios's all the time

its just that they didn't want the 600GN to have voltage adjustments so they didn't write them into the bios

the motherboard supports voltage adjustments and so does the chipset
just not the bios

i usedto have a medion and am sure that while looking for a newer BIOS for my old mobo(also an msi) i saw one for yours. let me go look around and i'll see if i can find it again.

OK, you can still use software to do what BIOS doesnt have... look around for some software overclocking utilities...

And to the guy with the MEDION system... try installing the MSI overclocking utility...

That might be able to help you.

the mobo oc program i have doesn't allow voltage adjustment

becoz it reads the bios and limits it within the program

you know any programs that allow full system control that works within windows that supports aopen boards

:| i should have gotten the AK79 :P its nforce2 ultra :P
