Unhappy HELP!!!! i need advise on a problem i'm having

ok, here's my system config first
gigabyte k8u mb
sempron 2800+
512 mb's ram
geforce fx 5700 le

i installed nfs underground 2 and the game keeps freezing then it starts again but keeps freezing, i've tried lowering the res to 800 x 600 and i never had this problem with my old duron 1200 mhz, i tried installing all the patches and updates but still the same problem, any suggesions????

Check out the temps and try another forceware driver

i've tried 78.01 and 78.03 u think i should go back to 77.77 o ranother one???

Default ugh!!!

nope, i went to the 77.77 drivers and still the same problem, i don't understand, i never had these problems with my duron 1200, maybe it can be because i'm using the onboard sound, my soundblaster went on me so until i get the money i need to use onboard sound

Check out the temps and make sure to update the BIOS to the latest version

i upgraded the bios to f6 and what do u mean by temps??? i know that sounds like a newbie question for someone who builds computers lol

Smile oh ok lol

my cpu temp non overclocked is a steady 86 f, with the stock cooler i got from buying the cpu oem, hmm, maybe i can overclock it a bit, it's too bad the multipler is locked, i wish there was someway i can overclock without using the fsb, i wish i could get the game to play, i love that game lol

i just found out i have a sempron 64 2800+ not sure if that makes much of a difference lol
