Default Flooded puter. Need new mobo.

Last night my girl flooded my main board with beer.
After cleaning it from beer , and dryng it , i noticed that mobo is death . I done all steps to check rest of HW.

what i need :

-good OC mobo
-For E2180 CPU with posibility of muth further upgrade in this socket.
-Geil Ultra x 1gb with posibility of muth further upgrade
-PCIE 9600 GT nVidia , single card setup . No sli-cfr.

The one she burned was Abit IP35E . Was great for that setup . But its not avalaible anymore .

I need suggestion what to get.

And yea i dint kill her .... yet

That sucks, but wasn't on purpose. I'd go for a X38 or X48 motherboard if you have some money to spare. Otherwise, P35 or P45.

If you did a good cleaning job... You could give a try to send it to RMA for a repair... Boards warranties are usualy 3 Years... If you are lucky they will repair it and if they are dumb enough they will give you a new one ...

And how the hell BEER WENT INSIDE YOUR COMPUTER ?

They still offer support for components under warranty. Drivers and Software too.

About warranties of components . They are obligated to offer the service because it's a legal contract.

http://www.abit.com.tw/page/en/contact/technical.php

For warranty

http://rma.uabit.com/

Actually the Repairs are not did by aBit, is Universal Scientific Industrial Co. who do those repairs....

Here a proof that aBit is still honoring warranties

Have no fear Caine is here

I done complete clean out of the mobo , and gived it 3 days to dry again.

And hooah , its working with no problem , same OC possible.

Same with the GPU , its working no problems.

I think that the good part was that when it was flooded it was only in desktop no games running . And the power off was a blast too when it happen .

I Hope my girl will learn from it.
And i need to get some real case . The one i use suits me well , but its not party proof.
